Research Administration

Research Director

Dr Goran Strkalj is the Director of Research in the Department of Chiropractic. His responsibility is to oversee the research activities of the Department, to promote research, to foster the application of research in the teaching of the Department, particularly from the view of evidence based practice.

Higher Degree Research Member

A/Prof Rod Bonello is the Higher Degree Research representative of the Department. His role is to communicate the Departmental activities to the Division and to report Division initiatives to the Department.

Ethics Committees

The two Ethics committees concerned with research are The Human Ethics Committee and the Animal Ethics Committee.

All research projects involving human participants must be presented to the Human Ethics Committee via the Department representative. A/Professor Rod Bonello, a former Chair of the Committee, is the current Departmental representative.
